Like anything, not all internet marketing seminars are created equally so be sure to do some research before shelling out the money. Ask other people in your field, read testimonials, and Google the seminar. Keep in mind that a good internet marketing seminar will provide you with:
- new information that is useful and ready to be implemented. The knowledge imparted at a seminar should not have been revealed before nor available elsewhere; otherwise you might as well save your cash and buy a book on the topic.
- actionable content. You must be able to walk away from the seminar with not just new information, but the tools to put it into practice. An expensive seminar that is all talk and power point presentations is a waste of time. The best seminars are those that give you the theory and then allow you to put it into practice by way of interactive games and mock-ups.
- speakers who put their money where their mouths are. Anyone can tell you the right thing to do; it’s those who are living examples of what they teach that you really want to pay attention to. When you can see that their internet marketing strategies really work, that is the best motivation of all!
